Can I use FFA email addresses?

We are sorry, but we do not allow any kind of "Free For All" (FFA) email addresses to be added to mailing lists hosted with GetResponse.

A Free-For-All program is usually a freely accessible webpage that enables anyone to add their own link, in exchange for the email address. Once submitted, the email address is usually distributed to hundreds of different webmasters.

As a result, the person who does the submission would then receive receiving hundreds of "Thank you for your submission" and follow-ups. This causes a significant problem both for the submitter and for GetResponse.

Our experience shows that the vast majority of FFA programs generate substantial strain on system and network resources due to automated messages bouncing back and forth. They are also likely to generate spam complaints and cause email deliverability problems.

These once popular programs are today considered an ineffective and troublesome list building tactics and at GetResponse we unfortunately cannot support these programs.
